Yes, the cameras will detect and record motion from wildlife if motion detection is set to “general.” In this case, you’ll also receive a notification through the Night Owl Protect App when movement is detected. If you’d like to limit alerts to only people or vehicles, you can adjust the motion settings in the app to reduce notifications while still recording all activity.
