Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Thank you for the question and happy to support you as you search for a video security solution. To properly protect your system during initial setup you will need access to wired internet to confirm your log-in credentials. It does not have to be connected where you plan to locate it permanently, just so you can complete that step. That will allow support to assist if you ever get locked out of the system. Once you have confirmed login, you are welcome move wherever, away from wired internet as needed. You can review footage by connecting a monitor to the recorder via HDMI output on the back of the recorder with the included 6 ft HDMI cable.
