“Can you use Cat 5 wiring to connect the cameras to the DVR? My issue is I have a brick home and would need to run the wires through my Windows somehow or what about putting the cameras up against the window? Thanks.”

• Dear Customer, Yes you can use Cat5 to connect you cameras. to achieve this setup you will need to have 2 video baluns one for each end of the cable. this will serve as an adapter for your BNC camera end and DVR's BNC video inputs.
