Good Afternoon, Thank you for contacting Night Owl Questions Portal, Our Internal DVR Hard Drive will be able to back up these videos to and external hard drive, these will need to be done at the DVR Main menu. Although, the Hard Drive might be the same size from the DVR to the PC we do not suggest to open your DVR Unit since this will void your warranty. Best Regards.
