“I have a night owl hard wirer, purchased 5-6 years ago it not recording anything. It’s coming up HDD formatting. Can’t do anything to erase data nothing. Could it be hard drive replacement?? Please help”

check to see if you are getting 12.75 volts off the adaptor while the unit is powered up if less than that change the adaptor
