• Without the DVR being manually connected to a working modem or router, you will not be able to view the system on a smart device or PC/Mac. You can, however, connect the DVR to a TV or monitor and see live and recordings from there. Thanks for choosing Night Owl!

• No, the dvr does not have wireless capabilities and won't be able to use the hotspot on your cell phone, easiest thing to do is hook up a monitor to the dvr and review footage from there, would be easier since you can view multiple cameras at once.
