Depending on how you setup the motion detection. There is a human detect feature that will help if you don't want it to detect animals etc. Otherwise if you are looking to detect animals or whatever you can turn that off and have it alert based on all motion detected with adjustable sensitivity.

While there will be a minimal number of false alerts, for the most part, only human motion should be detected. If you have one or more cameras where you want to disable human motion and use standard motion detection, you can change the DVRs settings within the main menu. Thank you!
