• The Night Owl cameras are weatherproof, but they will not work when submerged in water. Ensure that all power and video connections are not directly exposed to water and are protected from the elements. When installing the cameras, do not place the cameras where rain or snow will hit the lens directly nor should the cameras be placed so that the sun or bright light shines directly into the lens. • Yes, they can b used outside. We are putting protective boxes over them to shield UV rays and from,ice, snow, and rain.

• Yes! As far as I know. They are outdoor cameras so anything dealing with the weather, these cameras are supposed to hold up.
