Yes, the unit can be configured to record continuously and overwrite when the drive is full.

Yes. By default the system is set to motion record, but you can change this to 24/7 if desired. Also by default, the HDD is set to auto-overwrite and will automatically begin recoding over old footage when it becomes full. Thank you for choosing Night Owl !
