Good Afternoon, this Night Owl system is PTZ camera compatible. You may have a total of 8 cameras connected to this Night Owl system, however, its only compatible with a single PTZ camera. Regarding the Night Owl Application, you may view and record from your smart device, however, the application does not have the ability of operating the PTZ features. This model is 8 channel so it can handle up to 8 cameras.
