Only compatible with the Z-series of mirrorless cameras. F-mount lenses are adaptable to the Z-mount but not the other way around.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Briefly, no. Simply put, Z lens are design for Nikon’s Mirrorless cameras. The non mirrorless cameras mount is 44mm. Conversely the Z6 and Z7’s are 55mm. They are not backwards Compatible!
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.No. This lens is designed for the new generation of Nikon MIRRORLESS cameras. They call it the "Z Mount" instead of the F mount. Nikon currently has only released two models. The Z6 & Z7. I won't go into the technical reasons why it can't work but the S series of lenses that are designed for the Z mount cameras can not be adapted to work on ANY Nikon camera. However, the "F mount" Nikon/Nikkor lenses can be adapted to work on the "Z Mount". In the next year we will probably see adapters for almost all previous Canon and Sony Full Frame lenses to work on the new Nikon Z system. I'm sorry, that was a long answer... No. It won't work.
