Is this compatible with the Nikon d3500? null

This will mount to a d3500, but the d3500 is a "DX" crop sensor (APS-C) camera, and this is a FX lens (designed for a full frame sensor). You would not be able to take full advantage of the wide-angle lens because of the crop.
