A DX lens will be indicated by the letters "DX" in the lens name, for example: AF-S DX NIKKOR 18-300mm f/3.5-5.6G ED VR. DX lenses also have "DX" on the barrel of the lens. The AF-S NIKKOR 28-300mm f/3.5-5.6G ED VR is an FX lens and therefore does not have either of these indcations.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. If the lens body doesn’t say “DX” then it is a FX format lens. I use this on D810. It is a FX lens and will fits D600.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes - This is a FX Lens. All of the Nikon lens that are for DX format are clearly marked. You can look for the DX mark on the bottom of the lens. If you have an FX camera do not use the lenes with the DX mark on them.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The lenses sized for the DX are marked as such. (They will have a DX in their name.)
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Go to sources like Nikon, DxOMark (or similar) and verify whether the lens you are interested in (under specs) is an F-mount and FX lens. The Nikon AF-S Nikkor 28-300mm f/3.5-5.6G ED VR is definitely an FX lens.
