• A:Answer as Far as I know it will , the lens mount is the same on DX and FX Cameras so it should mount. there is a 1.5 Crop Factor for DX cameras . most Nikon cameras use the same Electronic Connections so it should function the same . I have never used the D3400 or the 3500, but I think they will work. Check the Camera manual for Lens Compatabilty.
