• Yes. The Nikon AF-S VR Zoom-Nikkor 70-300mm f/4.5-5.6G IF-ED lens does have a built-in focus motor that provides ultra-quiet, ultra-fast autofocusing with both DX and FX format DSLR cameras. It will fit the Nikon D3100 DSLR camera with no problem.
