• No, at least not without some sort of adapter. Not sure if they make an adapter or not but as it sits, it will not fit.

• The AF-S VR Zoom-NIKKOR 70-300mm f/4.5-5.6G IF-ED Lens is compatible with the Nikon1 J1 when used with the Nikon1 FT-1 mount adapter. When using this lens and the FT-1 mount adapter on a Nikon1 camera, autofocus is possible when the focus mode is set to AF-S (Single AF) and the AF-area mode is fixed at Single-point with only the center focus point used. The Shooting mode must be P,S,A or M. It may also be necessary for you to update your camera's firmware. Please contact Nikon Support for additional information. For fully compatible lenses that were built specifically for use on the Nikon1 J1, look for lenses with the 1 NIKKOR designation.
