• The Nikon COOLPIX B500 digital camera is compatible with either four alkaline LR6/L40 (AA) batteries, four lithium FR6/L91 (AA) batteries or four EN-MH2 Rechargeable Ni-MH (nickel metal hydride) batteries which are commercially available. NE-MH1 rechargeable Ni-MH batteries cannot be used. To learn more please contact Nikon Support.
