Yes there is a selection to choose to place timestamps on your pictures within the settings option for the Nikon - COOLPIX B500 16.0-Megapixel Digital Camera. I did not input the date into my camera so it must be synced with the world clock, but it is correct. The only problem with the timestamp is when you go back in to edit the picture and if you crop within the area of the timestamp, the timestamp is stationary and may end up being cropped out.

To enable this, press the MENU button, go to the Setup menu, and select Date stamp. Choose between the options of Date, Date and time, or turn it off if you no longer wish for the date and time to be stamped on your images.
