The Nikon COOLPIX B500 digital camera has a Macro Mode which can allow you to get sharply focused subjects that are as close as approximately 10 cm, or 4 inches, from the lens. If the zoom position is placed a bit closer, the camera can even focus on subjects as close as approximately 1 cm, or 0.4 inches, from the lens. Images taken with Macro mode on this camera can capture the finest details of very small subjects.
