“hi received the Cool Pix S7000 for christmas . I have taked two photos (with out a memory card ) i went to take another photo a reading comes up out of memory . I guess i need to purchase A memory Card ? Thank you”

Yes, a memory card will give the camera more photo storage.

YES, YOU NEED A MEMORY CARD. THE CAMERA IS NOT CAPABLE TO STORE MUCH MEMORY. A 32 GB CARD WILL PROBABLY LAST AN OCCASIONAL PICTURE TAKER A VERY LONG TIME. READ THE MANUAL FOR THE CORRECT CARD.

The Nikon COOLPIX S7000 digital camera has approximately 20 MB of internal memory. For additional storage of your images a memory card is needed. Approved cards for the COOLPIX S7000 digital camera are SanDisk, Toshiba, Panasonic, and Lexar brands.
