“I see that this camera can be used underwater but is it safe without an additional waterproof case ? can it be used alone with no case?”

• The Nikon COOLPIX W100 camera is waterproof to a depth of 10 m (33 ft) for up to 60 minutes and is rated equivalent to JIS/IEC waterproof class 8 (IPX8). There is no need to use an additional casing to take this product underwater. Instructions for underwater use can be found in the QuickStart Guide provided with this camera.
