Yes, but not from Bestbuy. You can get one from Nikon for about $150 that covers you for 2 years. Problem with Bestbuy warranty is that it may void your warranty if the repair shop they use (or company) is not certified with Nikon. I would spend the extra $30-$50 and just get the warranty from Nikon. Only downside to that is you have to mail your camera in when it needs service, but at least you know the mfr is doing the repairs. If you're spending $500+ on a camera, the extra $50 is definitely worth it. The Nikon warranty does not cover accidental damage though, so consider that too. Mfr defects only. But honestly, I've had 3 Nikons, and never used the warranty (standard or extended).
