Older Nikon film cameras like the N4004 film camera, are compatible with legacy lenses (lenses that were used for film cameras) and AI lenses. The lenses that are listed in the Nikon D5600 kit here are AF-P type lenses and are not able to be used with film cameras, as VR and focus mode use the menu to work. E-type lenses are also not compatible with Nikon film cameras or older DSLR camera bodies. The Nikon D5600 DSLR is fully compatible with A-S, AF-P and E-type lenses. AI and AF will be able to be used as well but will need to be manually focused.
