It does have WiFi and the battery life depends on how much you use it. For me, I shoot all day and one battery generally lasts a full day for me. Unless you’re shooting a lot of video. And it does come with a camera strap.

A good practice is to check your camera for the latest version of firmware. The version that is in the camera can be found by looking into the camera's setup menu. Compare the version with the latest version on the Nikon website. There are instructions on how to update on this site as well. May of the updates have to do with the cameras Wi-fi. The battery is LI-ion battery that's rechargeable and comes with a charger. The number of photos you get on a charge depends on if you use the built-in flash or not. I always have a spare battery if I'm on a long photo shoot. All Nikon cameras come with a shoulder strap.

Images can then be seamlessly shared with the SnapBridge app, which can also work as a remote control with this camera model. The movie footage or number of shots that can be recorded with a fully-charged battery depends on the condition of the battery, temperature, interval between shots and length of time menus are displayed.
