If you want to shoot in auto full time, perhaps one of Nikon's less advanced cameras in the D3xxx or D5xxx series would be a better choice. This is a lot of camera, including the cost, for just shooting in auto full time. The D7500 has the same sensor as their top crop frame camera the D500 and will most likely do very well in auto.

Please try again later. The Nikon D7500 DSLR camera will take amazing images, even when used only in Auto Mode, but it offers a lot more, like Aperture-Priority and Shutter-Priority Mode, special effects, scene modes and powerful, in-camera editing tools. This camera is easy-to-use and ready to help you create images that are remarkably vivid and sharp.
