The Nikon ML-L3 Remote is not compatible with the Nikon COOLPIX S800c camera. While there are no remote options for this camera it does offer self-timer options for self-portraits (10 second and 2 second). This feature is useful for reducing the effects of camera shake that occurs when pressing the shutter-release button. Use of a tripod is recommended for this feature and works best when Vibration Reduction in set to "Off".
