• You do not need a wireless adapter. This remote will only connect with compatible cameras. Nikon's website will list what cameras it will work with.

• The ML-L3 Wireless Remote allows you to trigger the shutter release from a distance. You don’t need other accessories to use the ML-L3 Wireless remote with your Nikon D5100 DSLR camera. Please check with your Nikon D5100 manual for more information on using the wireless remote feature.
