Nikon does not make a compatible remote accessory for the Nikon COOLPIX L820 digital camera. If you're trying place yourself in shots that you take, there is a Self-timer feature on the camera. This feature will allow you to set the camera to release the shutter approximately 10 seconds after pressing the shutter button. It's recommended that if you use the Self-timer feature that you turn Vibration Reduction off and use a tripod, so images you take are super-sharp.
