It should, works fine with my D7100. Just need to go into settings to enable it.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.The ML-L3 is 100% compatible with the D7200. The remote will work at up to a distance of up to 16 feet from the camera. Please pages 156-159 of your manual. It will detail out the use of the ML-L3 with the D7200.
