“I have a Nikon D7000 and with that a standard 50mm and 35mm. I just bought a Nikon Z 6II . Does this only adapt other Full frame lens? Or will it work on the lens I used for my DX? I eventually want to get a Nikon D850 and upgrade my lens to fit both”

This adapter will fit perfectly on all your DX or FX lenses with F mount because this adapter simply adapt the F mount to the larger Z mount. The D850 is an FX (full frame camera) and uses an F mount. The difference between a DX lens used on an FX body is that the image will be cropped to fill the FX frame cause the DX sensor is smaller than the FX. I have a D850, and bought a Z8 then thanks this adapter I can use all my beloved F mount lenses in my new Nikon mirrorless and work perfectly.
