“How can you tell if a Nikon product is USA or International and can sb-700 used on the 5500 and 7200. The reason I ask about USA and International you can find better prices at lets say 42st photo but Nikon does not recognize them as authorized dealer”

Those too low NY prices are on grey market flashes/ cameras. International models without full US warranty or support. Buyer beware.
