“yesterday i bought z50 for indoor passport photographs(using 3 soft box flash lights). if mode is in M and iso is in 100, (auto iso is off) viewfinder and display monitor becomes black. i cant see anything. camera cant focus the subject. i am unable to us”

Sound strange, camera has a sensor to sense when you use the viewfinder and when your eye moves away the screen comes on. Check your setting or it may be malfunctioning.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.You could try setting the camera to auto mode if you don't know how to operate it in manual mode. When using flash your viewfinder settings might look darker than what the actual picture ends up being as the camera has no way of knowing how you have the individual flash systems set-up. Change the settings on the camera so that the image is bright, focus the camera, disable the focus, then set the settings back for the flash.
