It is wireless, but it connects directly to your iPhone. It puts out it's own "network" that you select from your wireless options (it ill have an SSID name that has "Z6" as part of it). You then use the Nikon SnapBridge app on your phone (or as I do with an iPad). You can then browse your pictures, zoom in, and also download them to you device at different resolution options. Please try again later.The Nikon Z6 Mirrorless camera can connect wirelessly to smart devices using iOS or Android when using the SnapBridge app. The camera will use both it's BlueTooth and Wi-Fi capabilities to connect to a smart device. The Camera will use it's own Wi-Fi signal that your phone will connect to, so your phone does not have to be connected to the internet to work as it will connect to the "internet signal" that the Z6 Mirrorless camera will put out.
