I have no answer as to quart-size, but the dimensions of the air-fry basket is 14.4*11.4*1.06 inches. That said, the 1.06 inch height would pretty much restrict food to one layer, rather than how your straight-up air-fryers work, where the basket is deeper. I am a newbie regarding air-frying, so I can't say if it does well. I made 'fried' potatoes last night with our dinner and though the results were somewhat crispy, it wasn't the way I like it when doing it in a stove-top fry pan. I am sure I did not use enough oil, though, but as I said, I'm a newbie so I am experimenting as I go. Any contraption that incorporates a lot of features will have one feature that doesn't do as well as a unit that's designated to just that feature. That said, I've been happy with the toasting feature, the pizza feature, and baking cookies (although they do take a bit longer to bake than in a conventional oven). I've re-toasted leftover crisped chicken and it does well with that. I've only been using this for a week, though, so I have a lot of learning to do. :-D
