• Mine never smelled, sorry. I did wash it well with warm water and soap and ran it for about 45 minutes before first use. Maybe that’s why mine didn’t do that?

• We are happy to assist you with this. Prior to using the air fryer, we recommend that you remove and discard all packaging material, promotional labels, and tape from the unit. Wash the ceramic-coated basket, crisper plate, and accessories in hot, soapy water, then rinse and dry thoroughly. Never clean the main unit in the dishwasher.
