I own two macaws, and use this very often with the birds out and about. Teflon will only off gas when it over 500 degrees, i dont know anyone cooking at that temperature. I cant help it if some person decided to place a pot or an on the stove and walk away letting it get over 500 degrees. Dont be guided by fear, do your homework
