• Pretty much. It isn't explicitly called espresso, but they use the terminology "Specialty." Their definition of specialty is "an ultra-rich concentrate that allows you to create your favorite coffeehouse-style drinks, one cup at a time. This setting will brew 4 oz.

• I would like to know this as well. Although it offers a frother, it doesn't appear to be an espresso maker.
