The brew volumes on Classic brew are: Cup - 9.5 oz, XL Cup - 11.5 oz, Travel Mug - 14 oz, and XL Multi-Serve - 18 oz. Please ensure that you are using at least a 12 oz. cup for the Cup size, 14 oz. cup for the XL Cup size, 16 oz. travel mug for the Travel Mug size, and 20 oz. travel mug for the XL Multi-Serve size to prevent overflow. QuestionIs it worth the Ninja Coffee Bar Thermal Carafe System, Stainless Carafe (CF 097) over the CF091? The CF091 has a glass carafe than can stay heated in the warming plate vs the CF097 that has a thermal carafe. Trying to decide if it's worth the extra $$

- Answer I think the glass would be better because its easier to clean and it already comes with it so I don't think getting the thernal one would be worth getting. Hope that helped.

- Answer Just leave out the coffee grounds and you are good to go. The range of brew sizes should allow you to get the right amount of hot water for your needs.

QuestionHas the new Ninja remedied the steaming issues(ruined peoples cupboards) with the past model?

- Answer Hi Karen, I have not experienced any steaming issues with this model. In fact, there isnt' much steam dispelled when the coffee is brewed. I was surprised since everybody was talking about how bad the previous model steamed when making coffee.

QuestionDo I have to clean the filter and add new coffee for each cup I make, or can I "load up" the filter with coffee, assuming the machine will measure and release only what the brewer needs for each cup?

- Answer You will have to add new coffee for each cup. It doesn't auto dispense/measure the coffee. The water however is auto measured. Hope this helps.

- Answer No, this does not make true espresso. It does make an "espresso-like" coffee concentrate that can be used as a base for espresso based drinks. If you are mainly using espresso to make lattes, cappuccinos, etc..., then I find the coffee concentrate works quite well. But purists may disagree.

- Answer Yes, The reusable filter comes with this machine. The frother does not heat, if I want warm froth, I pop it in the microwave for a few seconds first.

- Answer If you like your coffee rich and bold just brew it with the "rich brew" button. If you don't like it so bold then use the "classic brew". You won't be disappointed with it. I'm extremely happy with the coffee bar. Best coffee machine I ever bought.

- Answer I am quoting directly from the instruction manual of the CF091 so you get it "First-Hand" -2-Hour Shut off: Automatically turns off the warming plate 2 hours after you brew coffee. -Stay Warm Button: Your warming plate will automatically turn on after brewing a carafe and turn off after 2 hours. The Stay Warm Button allows you to manually turn the warming plate off -Intelligent Warming Plate: Automatically adjusts the temperature of the warming plate to keep your coffee at the ideal drinking temp. without burning it I hope this helps

- Answer From what I can tell, the thermal carafe systems don't have a warming plate and just relies on the metal carafe to keep the coffee hot. We chose the one with the glass carafe and warming plate. I don't regret it.

- Answer The filter that comes with the coffeemaker isn't great for medium or fine coffee grains. You would have to buy the cone shaped filters at Walmart or Target. Reason I say that is because you will have some coffee grains that aren't caught buy the ninja filter in your coffee.
