No, this does not make true espresso. It does make an "espresso-like" coffee concentrate that can be used as a base for espresso based drinks. If you are mainly using espresso to make lattes, cappuccinos, etc..., then I find the coffee concentrate works quite well. But purists may disagree.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. It does a 4 Oz and an 8 Oz specialty brew. Very nice for making cappuccino etc.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes. Well, it's called "specialty brew" which is a concentrated 4 oz brew. It's good. :)
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. No it doesn't make espresso in the traditional sense, because it does not force hot water under high pressure through compacted ground espresso. I have used espresso in the machine under the specialty brew setting and it wasn't bad. If your a espresso connoisseur, then this may not be the coffee maker for you. I think it works well and I love the milk frother.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. It does brew a very strong coffee in the specialty coffee setting and it's just 4 oz.
