Wife and I noticed the same thing. We noticed this didn't happen when we used paper filters but the coffee didn't taste the same and it was just another thing to clean and buy.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I would recommend using #4 paper filters instead of the reusable one that was provided. I had that same problem and now i no longer have that issue. Also, make sure that the beans you are using are ground specifically for a cone filter. It's not necessary but I've seen an improvement in the taste.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.That is a problem with permanent filters. I use size 2 (size 4 for the full pot machines) cone filter and that will remove the sediment. I hate the sediment as well and it hurts my throat.
