Can this machine make soft serve ice cream? null

The consistency of the ice cream definitely comes out soft-serve like for me.

Sort of. Once you run it thru the initial cycle, you can add more liquid and use the respin function. With a little experimentation, you can get close to soft serve consistency.

Yes, all depends on the ingredients you use and if you add more liquid during the re-spin, your ice cream will be more soft serve than hard packed.

it depends on the recipe. Some turn out more like soft serve and some are more scoopable.

Yes you may need to add just a little bit of milk or something to help it soften not a lot just a little before you process your frozen treat looks great even with frozen yogurt. Little tip if you're freezer is set too cold or you can't adjust it you can always stick the cup in your microwave for a few seconds at a time to make it just a little bit softer so that when it processes it's not dry and hard it's soft more like soft serve. It's not an exact science you just kind of have to play with it

Yes. Will depend on ingredients of recipe and how hard pint is when it is spun. Selecting the ice cream, gelato, or sorbet function that matches recipe ingredients affects final product. I've gotten perfect soft serve by following the ice cream recipe in the recipe book and spinning the pint on the ice cream function. Delcious!
