• Very easy! The blades pull out as a single piece, the lid unlocks from the top and leaves you nothing but the pitcher to wash by hand or the dishwasher

• Yes, the Ninja Detect is easy to take apart and clean also to note All parts except the motor base are top-rack dishwasher safe and should NOT be cleaned with a heated dry cycle.
