I can't find in the paperwork where this would be possible, but the reservoir is removable. Also, you can tell it how much coffee to brew in ounces. Say you wanted a 14oz. coffee, it would just brew that size for you in your mug/cup and the reservoir which holds about 60 ounces of water would still have plenty of water for the next use.
