“Does the coffeemaker beep when done, and if so can that be turned off?”

• The machine does beep when starting and at the end of a brewing cycle. It also beeps five times if the open / close slider is closed when it should be opened so that brewed coffe goes into the carafe. The beeping is not very loud, and cannot be turned off.

• Yes. So far, I haven't figured out a mute option for it. And it beeps quite a lot.

• It beeps when done, and this version has a thermal pot which means it doesn't need to be manuallly turned off and your coffee stays hot for hours.
