• yes this has happened , its tricky you have to push the thing all the way back and it still may give some budging

• If you slide the pod adapter to remove you can’t open it. When it is in the machine it says lock. It does not have to be in the brewer to slide it to the lock position so you can remove the pod, but it will not go back in the brewer until you slide it back to remove and lock it again.
