“Does the "keep warm" function stay on if my wife decides to brew a single cup after I have brewed a carafe? Our current maker has a selector switch which has to be set back to the carafe mode and the brew button has to again be depressed to reset warming.”

• The warmer only turns on if set to one of the carafe brew types however you can manually turn it on and set a mug on it. I have done that a few times.
