“Hi, in the description it says you can choose your favorite espresso pod to brew. In specifications it says to use espresso original. Which is it. Can any espresso pod fit this machine?”

So far, I have used starbucks nespresso pods and peets nespresso pods. As long as it's a nespresso pod (fits in the opening), I believe you will be just fine. The nespresso pods are smaller than a k-cup and is normally rounded on the bottoms.
