Elbow grease.... that's how you clean it. The interior is not coated and does not have a non-stick interior. I actually find it difficult to clean and I try to clean it almost every time I use it. The convection action, especially in the air-fry mode, causes any oil or grease to splatter and get on the walls of the oven. It tends to cook on while you are cooking and it is not easy to get off. I really recommend cleaning the interior frequently, but not all of the cooked on oil comes off. Or at least it doesn't come off without a TON of work. That being said, I still love this appliance. I use it almost every day.
