• Shortly after product launch, it was determined that the splatter guard had no effect on performance (either in terms of cooking or smoke) and was therefore removed from the design. The artwork on the box was updated accordingly to remove the splatter guard as well.

• A SPLATTER GUARD GOES OVER THE FAN TO KEEP IT CLEAN. SOME PEOPLE HAVE BEEN COMPLAINING THEY ARE GETTING A OVEN WITH OUT ONE. IT HOOKS OVER THE FAN AND YOU CAN TAKE IT OFF TO CLEAN IT. I AM NOT TALKING ABOUT THE CRUMB TRAY ON THE BOTTOM.

• Not sure if this answers your question it does have a drip tray that goes in the bottom.
