The smell fades. When I first got it that smell drove me nuts. But the smell is almost completely gone. I’ve had it for a month. I love it

It wears off. It took about 10 times running it while empty with windows open, once with vinegar and lime in it, to get the smell to wear off. It is really gross and strong the first use but I've used it a lot since and the smell as subsided.
